The Mighty MitchMan's
personal creed:
"Let my voice rise above the cacophony of racism, cruelty, injustice, intolerance and
inhumanity. Let me combat right-wing nonsense and hysteria. Yes, I am a proud, unabashed, bleeding-heart
liberal. As such, let my voice be a light of justice, tolerance and reason, a beacon shining in the
darkness. Even if I am the only one, let me have the courage to speak out against injustice, and the strength
to do the right thing."
TODAY'S QUOTES
..if by a liberal they mean someone who looks ahead and
not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people their
health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, their civil liberties if that is what they mean by a
'liberal' then I am proud to be a liberal. --President John F Kennedy
Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay
for a while and leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never the same. --Flavia Weedn, Inspirational author
"Illegal
aliens have always been a problem in the United States. Ask any Indian." ---Robert Orben
Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The trouble-makers. The round heads in the square holes. The ones
who see things differently. They're not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status-quo. You can quote them, disagree
with them, glorify, or vilify them. But the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push
the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough
to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. --"Think Different", Apple Computers Advertisement
Let's not mistake dissent for disloyalty. - Edward R. Murrow
TODAY'S TRIVIA
The song "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling" was written by George Graff, who was German, and was never in Ireland in his life.

RULES FOR CHOOSING A SUPERHERO NAME
1. Choose a name that suggests power, heroism,
and prowess, e.g., Captain Power, Thunderman, Mr. Invincible, Justiceman.
2. Don't be too modest, e.g., Mr. Pretty
Good, Captain So-so, Fairly Incredibleman.
3. But don't labor the point, e.g., Mr. So-Powerful- Don't-Even-Think-About-It-Buddy.
4.
Don't choose a name detrimental to your crime fighting image, e.g., Captain Spongecake, Mr. Silly, Yellow Streak,Purple Slippers,
Captain Evil.
5. Don't choose the name of an existing Superhero unless you have lots of money and enjoy fighting litigation
rather than supervillains.
6. It's no use calling yourself Captain Invincible if your only power is control over Hostess
Twinkies and you suffer from a congenial hole-in-the-heart condition. That's just asking for trouble.
7. Don't call
yourself the Invisible Boy if you're not.
8. Don't call yourself the Invisible Boy if you're a girl.
9. Don't
call yourself the Invisible Lady if you're a man -- even if you do feel like a woman trapped in a man's body.
10. Don't
give away important information in your name, e.g., The Glass Jaw, Captain Vulnerable To Strontium 90.
11. Don't call
yourself The Green Avenger if you wear an orange costume. You'll just confuse people
